Needs Changing

This article needs a lot of work to reflect the recent changes to ASCN. Perhaps best to wait a couple of weeks and see what becomes of it.

Hi Ashis, nice article but I think that theres too many links to Xetic. I realise this isn't Wikipedia but i think linking just the very 1st mention of an entity, like they do, is good enough. What do you think?

Humm

Dunno - is it distracting? If so I will take them out. Having never done anything wiki-related before, what is the common practice when formatting - just to do the first one?

The other thing I have been debating is the alliance/corporation tags... no doubt most alliances/corporations will be linked through their name - should we try to set a standard of putting the [TAG] after each one? I like it so that for both familiarity and completeness, but is it too distracting?

Any other thoughts?

maybe start a catagory page with [tag] links in them which then refer on to the proper names for the corps/alliances? allows people to reflink to pages without using the full name... --OmberZombie 07:17, 13 September 2006 (UTC)

Corp tags & links

Hi, about corp tags and links, I think only linking the first occurance of a linkable subject should be enough. Regarding corp tags and a standard about that, I did the exact same thing you did with corporations, ie. Corp Name [TAG], with Corp Name being the link. I think that would be the most clear. Besides, if everyone uses an info box such as the one on our corp page in here (JuBa Corp), the corp tag will be listed there as well...

Sounds good. Now, say someone 1st refers to a well known corp by their tag on the 1st occurance, then that should be changed to Corp Name [TAG]? At least it then makes clear who the tag is referring to in the rest of the article.--> Starquinia 22:31, 2 January 2007 (UTC)

Original corp missing.
