Period Basis

As commonly viewed on the map, Period Basis is in the South West.

In 2004, this particular region was under control by the Coalition of Free Stars [CFS] who allowed any willing individual to come there and use the facilities in TPAR-G (refinery) and G-Q5JU (factory) freely, provided they didn't start any trouble, all this under the distant supervision of the Fountain Alliance who had control of the actual stations. Unfortunately, after a while, there was an incident between CFS and FA, and this, added with constant pirate attacks (notably from Shinra at the time) contributed to the downfall of CFS and the closing of Period Basis to the public.

Thereafter, Shinra held the region until the formation of The Five, at which point they left the region and abandoned claimed stations in Delve and Period Basis. Fountain Alliance took the opportunity to re-appropriate the installations and defended them for a time against the growing Band of Brothers; eventually however they were driven out.

The region is currently under the dominion of Band of Brothers. A brief challenge to this supremacy came in the form of an Ascendant Frontier attack near the beginning of BoB's war with them; this was successfully repulsed and the region firmly under BoB control.
