The Beginning
Murini Ice Syndicate [MUR] corporation was founded early in february of 2004 by Terminator v along with Taz Devlin, FireFace and Hnusi. Reason being unhappiness with the leadership of the WAFFLES inc corporation - whom all were members of.
Frostie Nail, Punchy, Madness Beast and Strategos Styx joined very soon after forming with Digiblast joining a month later, but being a constant pressence and mentor to the others from the start.
These nine are what is considered to be "The MUR Group" despite inactiveness or which ever would come up.
Digiblast
At about the time of Digiblast joining from Tyrell corp, MUR started to recruit heavily and skyrocketed from nine members up to 50 in a very short time. Now the corp believed itself to be ready for 0.0 space and started to look around for eligable alliances. Stain Alliance was chosen probably more due to Digiblast having made his name known as a prominent fighter while flying with Solar Wind and Tyrell corp. Before anyone really knew anything, MUR had joined SA on a trial basis.
Stain Alliance
Initially MUR settled down in 37s-ko and made it their home, things where not as easy as anticipated and an Empire corp was founded by then prominent member Blade Montana named Murini Fire Syndicate [MFS]. This setup lasted the summer of 2004, before the leadership realised that this was not working as intended, so decided to look around for other options.
In the end it was decided to merge MUR into Solar Wind.
Though during the summer MUR had managed to get Taz Devlin into the Foreign Affairs department and War Machine into the Logistics department. This propelled Taz Devlin to a position within SA as a high ranking officer and practically ran the alliance for a while.
After a good nine month period with Solar Wind and a 2 week stop with The Collective MUR was again opened up and moved to Omist with MASS. Omist turned out to be a carebears paradise, and there was relative peace there despite the minor annoyance of some northerners coming down for a short visit.
Stain Alliance: The Reforming
Peace was out when it was decided to reform Stain Alliance and make it the alliance it used to be. Unfortunatly some corps in Stain Empire where not as happy about the idea and civil war ensued. MUR pilots, being the fighters they are wanted to help out as best they could, were trapped in Omist and some even inside stations, as ASCN had decided not to support either side for the duration of this war and denied all SA members from leaving Omist in a warship to go fight in Stain.
This was deemed unacceptable by MUR who shot themselves a way out and just to piss off ASCN decided to take the short route to Esoteria right through Feythabolis.
During the reformation of SA, Taz Devlin was once again appointed for diplomatic duty.
After the civil war with SE had all but finished, MUR decided to rejoin The Collective as the leadership considered it a good example to other small corps, to merge and form bigger and stronger units.
Murini Ice Syndicate has once again reformed and currently resides in Amamake while considering their future.
