Interrex Collegia (corp ticker: IX-C), also known as The Guild of Regents is a small corporation, now dormant, founded in 106 EST (May 2004) by Indra Sebuchiore.

Originally formed as a RP-based pro-Minmatar corp specialising in Elite Frigates such as Interceptors and Assault Frigates, Interrex Collegia later changed its modus operandi to be less focused on in-game roleplay and more focused on anti-pirate and mercenary services, along with training new players.

Roleplay Phase: The PRM and U'K

When IX-C was originally founded, the Ushra'Khan alliance was merely a pipe-dream, and the primary focal point for Matari roleplay corporations was the People's Republic of Minmatar, also known as the PRM. Founder Indra Sebuchiore's intention was to create a small but skilled force of tech II frigate pilots to assist PRM military operations as scouts, tacklers, force-recon and fleet damage dealers. Though a small corp, they were welcomed into the Matari community as a whole before settling on the PRM specifically.

IX-C took part in numerous clashes between the PRM and the Curatores Veritatis Alliance (CVA) as well as between the PRM and local pirate infestations in the Molden Heath, Metropolis and Heimatar regions, winning the respect of enemies and friends alike for skill in frigate combat and valour.

Events of note include:

2004.05.23 Joint PRM, Oracle and Northern Intelligence fleet defeats CVA fleet and invades Amarr system.

2004.09.10 PIE Inc. ambushes and destroys an IX-C Tempest battleship, then posts screenshots on GalNet. Report here.

2004.09.19 Amarrian Slaver Conference held, and attacked by Matari freedom fighter corporations. Hakera, a Minmatar freedom fighter of note, was captured by the CVA during this engagement. GalNet reference

2004.09.22 Battle of Yuzier, in which Hakera is rescued by PRM and allied fleet. Despite the allied fleet freeing Hakera, the CVA claim victory with over 85 ships destroyed over both sides.

2004.11.14 IX-C is present at the Flight for Freedom above Matar planet in the Pator system.

2004.11.21 IX-C is part of Gamma Cell in the Great Slaver Raid. Over 25,000 slaves are freed from Amarrian slaver convoys by many Matari warriors that night. GalNet reference.

When the Ushra'Khan was formed in year 107 (2005), IX-C willingly joined up to the new alliance, proud to be united under a formal banner with Minmatar brethren. However, CEO Indra Sebuchiore was captured by Amarrian loyalist and PIE Inc. member Kostantin Mort during a raid in February 107 (2005). Subsequently tortured and brainwashed into following the Amarrian rhetoric, Indra was then released. Indra's subsequent spouting of Amarrian doctrine while still CEO of IX-C resulted in Interrex Collegia's expulsion from the Ushra'Khan a short time later.

Post-RP Phase: Molden Heath Operations

Late 2005 (107 EST), months after being deprogrammed by her close friend Adrielle Firewalker, Indra retook control at the helm of the Guild of Regents. The corp was restructured and removed it's focus from roleplay. Now running combat operations against pirates in the Molden Heath region, the corporation grew in size. It was also at this time IX-C lost it's Elite Frigate focus, primarily to accomodate newer players who did not have the skill for tech II ships.

Early 2006 (108 EST) an informal anti-pirate group known as Multicorp was formed amongst various corporations local to Molden Heath with the view of defense of the region from pirates in mind. This was, in large part, due to the increased lawlessness in the region following the formation of the Ushra'Khan alliance and subsequent move to 0.0 space, away from Molden Heath. With the U'K gone there was little organised resistance to pirate corporations in the region, until the local residents decided to rise up themselves. IX-C was an active part in this informal arrangment until, unfortunately, it fell apart due to disagreements between the various member corporations, primarily over certain members trying to control things to protect their assets above the rest of the group.

The Present

After the fall of the anti-pirate arrangement many members left Interrex Collegia, reducing membership to a handful. With a lack of focus the corp drifted. It was at this time Indra decided to put the corporation into receivership, handing over CEO leadership to a Caldari trader the bandersnatch. The Guild of Regents is currently dormant.
