The Freedom-Technologies Corp, F.T.C, is the result of the merger of 2 corps somewhere in may 2004.

The two corps involved were: The Freedom Fighters (Freedom) Lost Tech Division (Technologies)

The Freedom Fighters actually came from another game, Earth&Beyond, where they were called the Freedom Fighters Guild.
