The Beginning of D.N.A

The Gallentian Alliance (TGA)

The Gallentian Alliance was founded in the Summer of 2003 by a tightly-knit group of players from EVE's Beta release. With Nilkarus at the helm, TGA became an early member of Fountain Alliance and served mostly as an industrial corporation working out of the Fountain region. Early accomplishments included the creation of a massive blueprint collection and vast production resources within the alliance. Ranking members within TGA also served as makeshift military commanders within the burgeoning Fountain Alliance Navy and fought in some of earliest 0.0 battles with the m0o Corporation. After only a few months, however, the core membership of the Gallentian Alliance chose to leave Fountain and form a new corporation in the nearby 0.0 region of Syndicate.

D.N.A is Formed

Developmental Neogenics Amalgamated, or "D.N.A", was founded by Nilkarus in January 20th, 2004. Original members included former TGA members Zenobia, Symtrips, and Lt Xenith as well as veteran PVPers such Chewy. The original corporate policy was to escape the entangling web of alliance bureaucracy and focus on guerrilla combat. While relatively capable in the areas of PVP and Small Fleet combat, the early residents of Syndicate were unprepared for the highly efficient and surprising attacks that D.N.A seemed effortlessly capable of performing. Historians maintain that this was due to the experience D.N.A pilots gained in their previous corporations, be it in Fountain or elsewhere. The JQ Alliance, early inhabitants of the JQV5-9 Constellation in lower Syndicate, had an unusually difficult time handling the battle-hardened intruders. Even corporations that the JQ Alliance had previously considered foes were consulted to find ways to handle the new D.N.A threat. D.N.A had established itself as an indisputable force in Lower Syndicate.

Early History

Y9G-KS

Strategically located just outside Syndicate, D.N.A's Headquarters in Meunvon served as a safe yet convenient launch point for Guerrilla operations. Eventually, however, traffic to and from Y9G-KS, the gateway system into Syndicate for D.N.A, increased dramatically. This was largely due to its Crokite belts and its close proximity to low security systems within Solitude. Several corporations had started basing their operations out of Y9G-KS and eventually resistance to D.N.A's attacks occurred almost exclusively in this system. Miners in Y9G-KS became popular targets for not only D.N.A, but several small pirate organizations within Syndicate.

The Forces of Valhalla

Word of the unprotected assets within Y9G-KS spread quickly across the EVE universe and many individuals and corporations tried unsuccessfully to setup a serious operation within the system. Due to the looming guerrilla threat, most of these operations failed. HitGirl, an enterprising CEO with several loyal corporations at her command, became one of the first players to claim Y9G-KS. Under the flag of the Forces of Valhalla, HitGirl systematically offered every local corporation the option to be annexed or face extermination. Many found this form of regulated control to be a welcome change to the dog eat dog anarchy that previously existed. Shortly after HitGirl's arrival, nearly every local corporation had become part of the new alliance controlling Y9G-KS and the surrounding systems. D.N.A, on the other hand, refused to consider any form of Non-Aggression and continued to attack the citizens of Y9G-KS. It was at this time that D.N.A signed one of its few Non-Aggression pacts with another pirate corporation in the region called Galaxian Guerilla's, headed by Frankinator.

Solitude Empire and the JQ Alliance

From the ashes of HitGirl's alliance in Y9G-KS came a new alliance headed militarily by MAFIA Corporation and it's CEO Skywalker.
