The New Curse Alliance
Curse Alliance (CA) has now been reformed by one of the founding members of the original Curse Alliance, Vengeance of the Fallen. There numbers are growing day to day and are currently over the 2,000 player mark. Although they currently lay claim to only one constellation in the actual region of Curse, they do lay claim to the entire Great Wildlands Region.
Currently they are at war with Lotka Volterra and the Band of Brothers Alliance. A war started by the hatred between CA and LV that has been boiling since the collapse of the original CA. Band of Brothers have recently joined the war allying themselves with LV to stop the war machine that is CA and its allies from destroying LV and its new titan from being built.
Collapse of the original Curse Allaince
The Curse Alliance, better known as CA, inhabited the Curse region from late 2003 up until the beginning of 2005, when it collapsed as a result of disagreements between its main corporations, namely Shinra and Vengeance of the Fallen. One could add that problems started with the unexpected disappearance of one of the fleet admirals of the CA and CEO of Omega Corp, Duke Droklar, who returned (apparently) during the course of 2006 and restarted Omega Corp as a force to be reckoned with. Another thing worth mentioning is that many of the old corporations in the Red Alliance and Lotka Volterra were members of the CA.
Outdated Entry
Curse Alliance (CA) An alliance covering a broad expanse of the 'southeastern' quadrant of EVE. Their policies tend to favor PvP conflict with other entities within the Eve cluster, and their prolongued raiding has given them them a reputation of being pirates. They are currently hostile against no less than half of the non-empire based Alliances in EVE.
First created when Leyla from Sinister decided to move Sin corp to Curse. Initial talks started with Xirtam from Vengence of the Fallen. With advice from RUS Corp, SiN and VOTF created Curse Alliance with a membership of about 15 corporations. At the height of their power, CA listed about 67 corporations under it's flag.
Historically, such openly pirate entites as m0o and the Forsaken Empire have been part of, or strongly allied with Curse Alliance. CA currently has a working relationship with Phoenix Alliance in the north of EVE, and fights sporadically against the Northern Star Alliance, and BoB.
Curse claims seven 0.0 regions as its territory; Cache, Curse, Detorid, Great Wildlands, Insmother, Scalding Pass, and Wicked Creek and is currently attempting to wrest the Immensea region from Xetic Federation control.
