Colossus Technologies have been an EVE online corporation long since the beta testing stages. They were originally known by the ticker [CT], but when EVE launched, this became [CTEC].


History

They are the oldest corporation within EVE since launch. This comes from a quote from an old developer blog by Oveur:

"First 10 Corporations

Colossus Technologies, Rebirth Inc, AdGen, PIE Inc., Ltd. Nihilism, New Birmingham Technologies UK, Critical Mass Enterprises, LoneStar Industries, The Firm, Taggart Transdimensional

First 10 Corporations (and still alive today)

Colossus Technologies, AdGen, PIE Inc., Ltd. Nihilism, New Birmingham Technologies UK, Critical Mass Enterprises, LoneStar Industries, Taggart Transdimensional, British Space Corporation, m0o Corp"

[CTEC] was one of the founding members of Xetic Federation who were, at one time, the largest alliance within EVE.

Colossus Technologies was originally founded by Night, and is now run by 3names.
