A member of the large, highly respected Flame family from the Amarr Empire. Boctov was an Amarrian Seer of the highest caliber and integrity. He highly disagreed with the policies of violence, conquest, and brutality of the Amarr government. Even though he politically disagreed with the Emperor, he was regarded by the government as a man of integrity in all walks of life.
In his religious role, he was a lover of peace and charity. Boctov was awarded with the Medal of the Shepherd by his religious organization for his work among the poor and downcast. He was a man of scholarship, careful research, and action. He took his work seriously, and was a vocal advocate of compassion and peace in an Empire not known for those qualities.
In his later life, Boctov began to experience what he called visions. These visions were of the past and future. Some in the medical profession believed Boctov's mind was beginning to deteriorate due to an undisclosed illness, but many of those who heard him speak believed in his words. When interacting with him, journalist, students, and followers never noticed a mind that was slipping.
He was killed on a research mission in the region of Geminate in the BWF-ZZ system. Local legend surrounding the incident record an Ancient Amarrian curse uttered just before his death. Whether the curse is real or not is unknown.
Boctov left behind a loving wife, and two children. He will always be remembered for all he had done and accomplished.
